Buying • TradingWe are always seeking quality used English books, DVDs, magazines, etc.
Currently, we are not purchasing/trading the following types of books:
• ESL textbooks
• Hard cover fiction*
• Pre-2004 action/adventure*
• University textbooks
• Travel guides
• Computer books
• Magazines
• VHS movies
Feel free to drop in with your books for evaluation 7 days a week.In general, the store operates on a trading basis - for your books, etc. we offer in-store credit of up to 50% of our selling price, though we can pay cash for your items, but the amount is much less than that of credit, usually between 10 - 25% of our selling price.If you're in the charitable mood, we're always more than happy to accept donations of books, CDs, movies, etc; They really do help us keep our doors open : )*We do occasionally take classics or books in high demand of these types that we do not currently have in stock. Generally, though, it's very difficult to sell hard cover fiction here in Tokyo. And we have literally thousands of action/adventure books by Clancy, King, etc. sitting in storage, thus our policy. But, like always, we'll take a look at anything; just bring it by. |
